As of Tuesday, Sept. 13, tickets for this plane will start at $345 and flights take off six days a week, up to twice a day, the website said.

"Travelers may now enjoy a nonstop seaplane flight directly from Manhattan’s Skyport Marina at East 23rd Street to Washington, DC’s College Park Airport. Flights to and from Manhattan are approximately 80-90 minutes."

The company markets this new flight to the College Park Airport as a way to avoid congested airports, long flights, and other stressors that come with flying between Manhattan and DC, Tailwind Air explained.
